Shea Butter: We use unrefined raw shea butter which is specially supplied by an Australian distributor who directly sources it from a women’s cooperative in Gumo – Kumbungu district in Tamale located in the Northern part of Ghana. They use traditional processing methods to create a very clean smooth ivory coloured butter. Shea butter is good for the skin because of its high content of palmitic, stearic, oleic and arachidic non saponifiable fatty acids. The butter softens, protects against drying, and nourishes the skin.

Mango Seed Butter: Mango Butter is known to boost skin’s luster and natural radiance while reducing the appearance of dark spots. Along with softening and soothing properties, it cleanses the skin’s surface of impurities and unblocks pores. The main chemical constituents of Mango Butter are: Oleic Acid, Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Linoleic Acid, Arachidic Acid, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E.

Hemp Seed Oil: Cold pressed hemp seed oil is a light textured oil high in Omega 6 Linoleic acid, omega 3 alpha Linoleic acid, GLA and stearidonic acid. The balanced proportion of fatty acids helps in soothing dry skin conditions and replenishes moisture in the skin. It helps to soothe minor skin irritations or mild eczema.

Babassu Seed Oil: Babbassu is one of a few oil containing significant percentages of saturated fatty acids, including lauric acid. It provides skin-conditioning, anti-microbial properties and anti-inflammatory properties. The oil melts easily, quickly penetrating the tissues and protects the outermost skin layer.

Avocado Virgin Oil: Cold pressed oil from the flesh of the Avocado pear is rich green in colour because it contains chlorophyll. Avocado contains the skin-nourishing Vitamins A and D, as well as linoleic acid, which strengthens cell walls, making the skin stronger. Avocado oil provides intense moisturization for dry skin. The phytosterol content of avocado oil supports the collagen and skin structures, helping prevent age spots and cell wall weakening.

Jojoba Seed Oil: Jojoba is is liquid wax that has emollient and regenerative and toning properties. It provides a light film on the skin maintaining moisture level and still it allows the skin to breathe. This oil is highly compatible with skin sebum and helps in balancing sebum level. It assists in healthy production of the acid mantle that guards against harmful bacteria and skin imbalance.

Borago Officinalis (Borage) Seed Oil:  This oil has the highest content of Gamma-Linolenic acid. Borage seed oil helps regenerate, firm and rejuvenate the skin’s barrier function, decreasing moisture loss and maintaining the skin’s elasticity and suppleness. This oil helps to calm redness and minimise pore size.

Castor Oil -  Castor Oil has an increased ability to penetrate the skin and helps the nutrients to be carried to the deeper layers of the skin. The unique ricinoleic acid is high in the oil and has an unusual fatty acid structure. The fatty acid structure of castor oil causes ricinoleic acid to be more water accepting promoting skin hydration. Castor oil helps to minimise scarring on the skin and helps to hydrate the skin by drawing moisture from the environment.

Lavender Essential Oil - Bulgaria: We use certified organic French lavender oil produced in Bulgaria which has a sweet floral note preferred by many. Lavender essential oil has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties. It is soothing, calming and relaxing.
